Wow, what a concert! I am very proud of the efforts of the Shamrock bands tonight. I hope that all in attendance had a great time. It is not every day that one gets to perform with one of the great musicians on the planet. Paul Wertico was incredible!!!! His solo was some of the fastest drumming I have ever seen. Amazingly, while playing he dropped his stick; it flipped in the air; he caught it and then kept right on playing as if nothing happened. Funny thing is, Paul said that he barely remembers that happening! All that is left to say is WOW!

Well, we are on our way home. It was a fantastic festival! The students got to watch and hear some of the legends of jazz today. I hope that they appreciate and remember what they witnessed.
Sorry for not blogging sooner but I was having some technical difficulties. I hope to post some pictures from today's activities soon.
